Instrument Overview

The FP series direct-reading flow meter is a product of Global Water from the United States. The flow velocity probe consists of a protected water turbine propeller positive-displacement sensor connected to a retractable probe handle, with a digital readout display at the end of the handle. The flow meter calculates the average flow velocity and provides accurate flow rate measurements. The flow probes are used for studies on stormwater runoff, measurement of sewer flow velocities, determination of flow rates in rivers and streams, and monitoring flow velocities in ditches and pipelines.
