I. Product Introduction
The shipborne ADCP employs a 9-beam design, with four beams serving as 2-meter velocity sensors and four beams as 0.6-meter velocity sensors. It is equipped with a central vertical depth-measuring beam at 600 kHz, totaling nine transducers. The entire system consists primarily of an ADCP, a survey vessel, measurement software, a computer, a radio transmitter, and a GPS (optional). It provides real-time monitoring and calculation of local and total flow rates in rivers, estuaries, natural streams, and artificial channels. The system can simultaneously display data or charts including track lines, topography, velocity profiles, flow distribution, and velocity stratification. Both the software and the ADCP feature depth-layered velocity measurement capabilities and support multi-format data processing. The system also supports outputting data in ASCII text files, which can be opened using Excel.

II. Product Features

1. This system is a domestically developed, shipborne measurement system featuring 9 beams and possessing independent intellectual property rights. Both its software and hardware have been developed in-house. The system integrates advanced international technologies and is specifically designed for complex water bodies across China—covering a wide range of sediment concentrations and turbidity levels—and boasts exceptional adaptability.
2. The core technology employs acoustic sensors with dual-frequency differential velocity measurement, combined with central vertical depth sensing, to achieve precise three-dimensional velocity measurements across multiple layers in river channels. The system features an ultra-low blind zone (≤7 cm) and high-speed DSP signal processing capabilities, ensuring rapid multi-target tracking and data accuracy.
3. The operation is simple and straightforward—using our in-house software, you can complete the measurement in just four steps. The system supports modular combinations, features a built-in lithium battery, and comes equipped with an emergency power interface. It is compatible with GPS/Beidou positioning and can be externally connected to a compass to eliminate magnetic interference from the ship’s hull. Thanks to its versatile adapter flange, it can be flexibly installed on various types of survey vessels.
4. The smallest and lightest towed measurement device, easy to carry in the field, capable of achieving high-precision flow measurements in water depths ranging from 0.3 to 100 meters.
