I. Product Overview
The wireless time-of-flight ultrasonic flowmeter consists of a host unit and slave units that operate in synchronous fashion on both banks. In water bodies where cable installation is not feasible, the wireless system represents an ideal solution for flow measurement over large expanses of water. The host unit can be flexibly configured to accommodate multiple slave units, enabling the construction of single-layer, multi-layer, or cross-layer acoustic path systems.
II. Technical Highlights
1. Extremely shallow water depth measurement: The transducer’s minimum measurable water depth is less than 0.1 m; as long as the water level covers the transducer, it can operate normally.
2. Virtually no blind spots: Based on the ultrasonic time-of-flight principle, the measurement covers the entire cross-section in laminar flow, eliminating any flow-measurement blind zones.
3. Very low-flow rivers: Timing accuracy is at the n S level, and the minimum measurable flow rate is as low as 0.001 m/s.
4. Watersheds with high sediment content: Suitable for use in polluted waters, wastewater, and water bodies with high sediment concentrations; intelligent drive ensures signal strength.
5. Extremely wide measurement section: The maximum measurement width can reach 2000 m, making it suitable for various expansive river surfaces.
6. Simple installation method: No need to erect or pre-bury cables across the river; does not interfere with vessel navigation, and requires minimal maintenance afterward.
7. High measurement accuracy: Multi-layer flow velocity measurement and flow integration algorithm ensure high measurement accuracy.
